Your role

As a Sales Lead, you will be the driving force behind Ask Q’s commercial growth. You’ll take ownership of building and executing our sales strategy, expanding our client portfolio, and strengthening long-term partnerships with leading (international) companies.

 

Working closely with our three labs (Contracts lab, Data Protection lab and Legal Operations lab) you will connect our expertise with clients’ needs, ensuring Ask Q continues to deliver outstanding value. You will also play a key role in shaping a winning, inclusive team culture where entrepreneurship, collaboration, and results go hand in hand.

 

As a Sales Lead, we will expect you to:

 

  • Take the lead in sales and business development efforts, from pipeline building to closing deals

  • Expand Ask Q’s visibility in the Belgian and international market, including representing Ask Q at fairs, events, and other networking opportunities

  • Create and execute a strategic commercial roadmap, aligned with our growth ambitions

  • Build strong relationships with existing and new clients

  • Identify new opportunities and develop service offerings in collaboration with our Expert labs

  • Monitor and manage P&L, including forecasting and margin tracking

  • Manage and optimize Hubspot to maximize its potential for lead generation, segmentation and conversion

  • Work closely with marketing to convert marketing qualified leads into sales qualified leads

  • Support team development by fostering engagement, collaboration and continuous learning

 

Your Ask Q week will include:

 

  • Meeting with potential clients and converting opportunities into partnerships.
  • Guiding the sales cycle from first introduction to signed agreement.
  • Following up on pipeline and sales targets, keeping an eye on performance and profitability.
  • Mapping markets, gathering market intelligence, and applying smart segmentation to identify and prioritize opportunities.
  • Analyzing past commercial efforts, and sales data, drawing lessons, and using them to refine future strategies.
  • Acting as ambassador of Ask Q at networking events, conferences and client meetings.
  • Coaching colleagues on commercial thinking and client engagement.
  • Monitoring P&L including forecast tracking, keeping an overview of the margin and invoicing.

Your profile & skills

You have

  • a master’s degree in law, or you have built up substantial experience and affinity with the legal field in practice
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in the legal field
  • A proven track record in sales, business development, or client management, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment is a nice to have but not a must
  • A strong commercial mindset with entrepreneurial drive
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
  • Solid business acumen and the ability to translate client needs into solutions
  • Fluency in Dutch and/or French and English (other languages are a plus)
  •  A high customer and service orientation
